Victor Kenitzer: Youthful Champion
By: Abel CarvIn Montana, a state without an MMA commission, a 21 year old
champion awaits his next challenge. That champion is Victor Kenitzer, a 5 foot 10 inch warrior that weighs between 125 and 135lbs. Hailing from Miles City, Montana, Victor got into MMA at the ripe age of 16, when he started to learn Judo for self-defense; little did he know, but 5 short years later he’d be winning the Thunderbolt Productions Bantamweight Champion. With a background in Jiu-jitsu and Judo, Victor is a forceful fighter, as I learned firsthand when he defeated me to inaugurate his championship. Like his favourite fighters, Urijah Faber, Dan Henderson, and Randy Couture, Victor has great cage presence, being able to slam his opponents into the cage. At 4-1, he’s proved he’s got merit, training with elite fighters such as Will Grindhauser and Sean Peters. His regimen of sparring, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu practice seems to be effective, but will it lead him to victory at his next tentative fight April 6thin Sidney?
